Frequently Asked Questions

Will Wallums stick to any wall?

Smooth walls are ideal, and most textured walls work with a little patience. Some VOC-free paints don't hold vinyl well, so every order includes a free test decal. Want to check first? Order a color sample pack.

Are they easy to remove?

Yes. Start at a corner and peel slowly at a sharp angle. As long as your walls were properly prepped and painted, the decal comes off without damaging the paint.

How do I know which size to order?

Measure the area where it will go and pick the size that fills it the way you like. Sizes are for the whole assembled design. Need something different? Request a custom size.

Are the colors on screen accurate?

Screens vary, and metallics like Gold, Copper and Silver are especially hard to show. For exact colors, order a color sample pack.

How quickly will my order ship?

Everything is made to order by hand in our Northern California shop and usually ships within a week. Orders over $100 ship free within the continental US. We ship to US addresses only.

Even with my limited experience

Even with my limited experience with vinyl wall decals, I was totally impressed with the product's quality and the company's attention to detail. The color i picked online completely matched the color that was delivered. I also appreciated all the email updates the company sent notifying me of shipment and delivery. Thanks so much guys! I love the product.

Thin tricky vinyl

The vinyl is much thinner than my previous purchases and thus more difficult to get to adhere to the wall. I had trouble removing from the paper as well as keeping it stuck to the wall. The sample given to check for compatibility is not a good indication for thin lettering.
Time to install with redo is long. I needed to heat and add mastic to keep it up. Not sure it will last. I have previously been very pleased with other purchases.
