Frequently Asked Questions

Will Wallums stick to any wall?

Smooth walls are ideal, and most textured walls work with a little patience. Some VOC-free paints don't hold vinyl well, so every order includes a free test decal. Want to check first? Order a color sample pack.

Are they easy to remove?

Yes. Start at a corner and peel slowly at a sharp angle. As long as your walls were properly prepped and painted, the decal comes off without damaging the paint.

How do I know which size to order?

Measure the area where it will go and pick the size that fills it the way you like. Sizes are for the whole assembled design. Need something different? Request a custom size.

Are the colors on screen accurate?

Screens vary, and metallics like Gold, Copper and Silver are especially hard to show. For exact colors, order a color sample pack.

How quickly will my order ship?

Everything is made to order by hand in our Northern California shop and usually ships within a week. Orders over $100 ship free within the continental US. We ship to US addresses only.

Simple, cute decal

I bought this to add a splash of color, continue my butterfly theme and just to add something cute to my "soon to be" nursery. I originally bought it in celeriac green as greens and grays are the majority of our color scheme, but once I applied the decal, I couldn't see/could barely see it! The size was okay, a little too small, but that didn't really bother me. Our walls are beige and when I used the feature on the website to "test how it looks", I thought it looked pretty good. I left it on the wall for a week and looked At it each time I passed her room. Sadly, I had to remove it. I saved it, but not sure what I can do with it now. After all this, I saw that there is an option to have free color swatches sent in the mail before purchasing. Jeepers. I got 3 different samples sent and then purchased a new decal. We got the lavender and a one-size upgrade. Baby's room looks awesome! Just wish I didn't have to pay double for such a simple decal. I was on a budget. Live and learn I guess.
