Friday Finds – DIY Mouse Pads

  • June 12, 2015

Happy Friday everyone! I recently revamped my office and my old shabby mouse pad was not making the cut. So instead of going out and buying a brand new one, I decided to browse Pinterest and find a DIY mouse pad project. Here are four projects that have really inspired me to get crafty this weekend!

From Top to Bottom, Left To Right:

1. This DIY Painted Cork Mouse Pad is so simple, you can create it in minutes! You can do a very quick design (such as the heart) or get more intricate and make a funky pattern. All you need is cork and paint to create this—how easy is that??

2. Who doesn’t want a Mountain Mouse Pad in their office? Instead of throwing out that old shabby mouse pad you’re currently using (like mine); you can re-vamp it with some paint, fabric and an Xacto knife.

3. Gold can really class up a space, especially an office! This DIY Gold Mouse Pad tutorial uses gold spray paint, tape and some Mod Podge to completely transform a basic black mouse pad into something very glamorous.

4. If you’ve walked down the scrapbook paper aisle in your local craft store you know how many adorable patterns there are. Grab a sheet of your favorite design, a cork tile and start covering it with scrapbook paper and Mod Podge. So simple!

We hope that these four projects have inspired you to take a look at your old mouse pad and decide to give it a ‘face lift’! Now it’s time to get crafting. Have a lovely weekend!
